Find answers about accounts, plans, SMTP, and deliverability. For current allowances and feature availability, check your dashboard and the pricing page.

Getting started

turboSMTP provides an authenticated SMTP relay and an HTTP email API. You can send transactional and permission-based marketing mail, inspect delivery events, and manage suppressions. Feature availability depends on your plan.
turboSMTP offers Global and EU sending endpoints. Use api.eu.turbo-smtp.com for API sending or pro.eu.turbo-smtp.com for SMTP in the EU region. Review base URLs and processing terms for your requirements; endpoint selection does not establish the location of all account data or recipients.
Review turboSMTP’s published data protection information and applicable processing agreement. Your own use of personal data, recipient lists, and retention settings also matters. EU sending endpoints alone do not establish your compliance.
Check the current free plan. The pricing page currently lists 200 emails per day, valid for the first six months. Demo periods for features such as webhooks and analytics are shorter.
See the free signup and activation requirements. Check the current offer before entering payment details; do not assume a free allowance lasts indefinitely.
Not instantly. Every new account eligible for the free plan is reviewed by the turboSMTP team before it is activated. You will receive an email notification as soon as your account is ready. This review process usually completes quickly; if you have not heard back within a reasonable time, contact support.
turboSMTP maintains a quality-of-service policy that applies to all accounts, including free ones. turboSMTP may close a free account whose mail produces a high bounce rate or recipient complaints. Paid accounts receive an alert instead of immediate termination. If you believe your account was closed in error, contact the support team and they will review your case.
Yes. Use the dashboard to manage account details, plans, sending settings, Analytics, and Suppressions. Available controls depend on your plan and permissions.

Account & email addresses

No. You can configure other sender addresses you own or are authorized to use. Your account login is separate from your From address and SMTP username. SMTP uses your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.
Use an address you own or are authorized to use. For domain authentication, use a domain whose DNS you control and verify it in the dashboard.
One account can send for its configured sender addresses and domains, subject to plan limits. Use subaccounts if projects or clients need separate credentials and account boundaries.
Use the password controls in your dashboard account settings. Your dashboard password is separate from the Consumer Secret used by integrations. See Authentication for API password-operation limitations.

Plans & billing

Use Order a new plan in the dashboard top bar or plan box. Review the offered plan, billing period, and terms before ordering.
Use the subscription controls provided by the payment processor for your order, or contact support with your order reference. The process depends on how you purchased the plan.
Check your renewal date and subscription terms, then cancel renewal through your payment processor or contact support. See Plans and Billing.
The checkout shows the payment methods available for your order. See Plans and Billing or contact support before arranging a bank transfer.
Contact support or check the payment options shown at checkout. Use the payment details supplied for your order and confirm activation after payment.
Check the billing details entered at checkout and the payment processor’s validation message. Contact its support team or turboSMTP support if the issue persists.
Check the payment confirmation and order reference. If the dashboard still shows an unexpected status, contact support before submitting another payment.
Check the active free and paid allowance periods in the dashboard. Ask support to confirm credit allocation if the displayed balance does not match your order.
Account activation after purchase is not instantaneous. After payment approval, turboSMTP reviews and activates your account. You will receive an email confirmation when your plan is ready. If you have been waiting longer than expected, contact support and reference your payment confirmation.
The counter updates after you send an email. A renewal resets the counter for the new period; send one email to refresh it.

Sending & configuration

Your allowance depends on your active plan. The free plan currently lists 200 emails per day. The knowledge base lists a maximum of 30 MB per message. For the send API, keep the whole email, including attachments, under 24 MB. Base64 adds roughly one third to binary attachment data before MIME overhead. See Attachments.
Yes, if your network permits the connection and your key’s IP restrictions allow your current source IP. Both SMTP hosts support STARTTLS on 587 or 2525 and implicit TLS on 465 or 25025. Port 25 is also available but often blocked.
Use an email client that supports a custom outgoing SMTP server with authentication and TLS. See the Outlook and Thunderbird guide; available settings vary by client version.
For subscription lists, use a tool that manages consent, unsubscribe requests, and suppressions. Addresses in To and Cc are visible to the other recipients. Send separate messages when each recipient should see only their own address.
Yes. Keep the encoded message within the applicable size limit and test the attachment in the mail clients your recipients use. See Attachments.
Use 587 or 2525 with STARTTLS, or 465 or 25025 with implicit TLS. Global pro.turbo-smtp.com and EU pro.eu.turbo-smtp.com support the same ports. Match the client encryption setting to the chosen port.

Deliverability

Open Analytics in the dashboard to inspect delivery status and available engagement events. Use its filters and Export action. Retention and feature access depend on your plan.
A dropped message was not delivered. Inspect its reason in Analytics; a suppressed recipient is one possible cause. Review the address and its type in Suppressions before deciding what to change.
Check authentication and alignment, recipient consent, complaint rates, list quality, and content. Read the message’s reason in Analytics and inspect received headers. Follow Spam Issues for the detailed checks.
Follow Email Authentication and copy the exact values provided for your sender domain in the dashboard. Authentication helps receivers verify mail but does not guarantee inbox placement.
Ask the DNS administrator to publish the records or use a sending domain you control. See Email Authentication for fallback behavior and its alignment limitations.
turboSMTP can rewrite the envelope sender and sign with a provider domain. That can authenticate the provider without aligning with your visible From domain. Verify your domain and inspect received headers; fallback mode does not guarantee delivery or a DMARC pass.
A mail client can show an additional sender label when the message’s sender and authentication headers differ. Verify your sender domain and authentication mode, then inspect the received headers. Display behavior varies by client.
Always use permission-based email marketing; send only to recipients who have explicitly opted in. You may send an initial welcome or confirmation email to people who have provided their address, asking them to confirm their subscription. Never purchase email lists or send to addresses that have not consented to receive your messages.
Open Settings → Notifications → Bounces Management. Enabling Bounce Notifications sends notifications to turboSMTP; disable the option to receive them yourself, as the dashboard card explains. This setting controls notification routing, not suppression. Review bounced addresses under Suppressions.
Read the reason in Analytics, reduce unwanted mail, and act on complaints. Check DKIM-domain enrollment in Yahoo’s current Complaint Feedback Loop with support. Enrollment gives complaint reports; it does not clear reputation issues. See Spam Issues.
Smart Routing can retry delivery through another shared IP after a delay, deferral, or temporary block. Ask support whether it is enabled for your plan and sending infrastructure. See Smart Routing.
Smart Routing concerns retrying through shared IPs. A dedicated IP or pool reserves sending infrastructure for an account and requires reputation management and warm-up. Availability and routing options depend on the plan and configuration; check with support before relying on either feature.

Support

Log in to the dashboard, open ? → My Tickets → Submit Ticket, and provide the error, timestamp, and message or order ID. Remove credentials from anything you attach. Free and Basic list chat and ticket support; Pro and Enterprise also list phone support.
