Smart Routing distributes delivery attempts across a shared pool of turboSMTP sending IPs. When an IP encounters a temporary deferral or block, a later attempt can use another IP. This can help with IP-specific delivery issues; it does not guarantee inbox placement. For more complex cases, routing rules can direct traffic for particular recipient domains through different routes. See the Smart Routing overview and knowledge base.

Confirm availability for your account

Contact support through your dashboard to confirm whether Smart Routing is available and active for your account, whether it has a cost, and which configuration your sending pattern needs. Include your sending volume, the affected recipient domains, and examples of deferral or rejection responses. Ask support to confirm the routing configuration before relying on it for a production sending workflow.

Shared routing and dedicated IP pools

Smart Routing uses shared IPs and can retry temporary failures through another IP in the pool. Dedicated IP pools reserve IPs for your account and provide more control over sending identity and traffic separation. They require a sending and reputation-management strategy suited to your volume. Dedicated IP options are plan-dependent. Review pricing and confirm pool availability and setup with support. See the official comparison.
